If you are grieving for a companion animal that is sick, dying or has died, you are not alone. Such a loss can be one of the most devastating as well as physically and emotionally traumatic events you will ever experience. For many this is a loss not only of a pet but also of a best friend.
We are here to provide support and education about the unique issue of grieving a pet’s loss and a place where we can share feelings in a compassionate, safe environment.

The only support group for pet loss in the St. Louis area
Group facilitators have personal experience of pet loss as well as specialized training in pet loss and pet bereavement counseling and are members of the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement (APLB)
No charge but contributions are appreciated
Individual counseling sessions available by appointment – inquire regarding fees
Facilitator available for speaking engagements to animal welfare organizations, civic and professional groups
