We first "discovered" Petropolis about 5 years ago when we moved to Chesterfield. Being the proud owners of two American Pitbull Terriers, it was difficult to find a kennel that was accepting and welcoming of our dogs. We checked out some kennels around the area, but they either did not accept our dogs or the atmosphere was not appeasing. That's when we found Petropolis. At first, Petropolis was just a place that
allowed us to board our dogs, the staff was nice, and the vet was just next door. However, over the years Petropolis became more than just a place of convenience. It became like a second home to our dogs (and to us). It was so great to know that we could drop off our dogs for boarding and Brad or Tammy would know exactly what the dogs needed, what
kind of bath we liked to give the dogs, and, since the veterinarian was just next door, we knew that the dogs were not far from healthcare, if needed. The staff at Petropolis takes it upon themselves to get to know the customers and they take such great care of every dog that walks through their doors. Our dogs would get more than excited whenever they realized they were headed to Petropolis, it was like they
were more happy to be there than they were to be at home! Now that we are moving, we wish we could take Petropolis with us, but it makes us happy to know that if ever we were to return to St. Louis there would be no other place we would board our dogs. Thank you for taking such great care of us!

I've been taking my dogs to Petropolis for a few years now. Brad, Tammy and the whole staff are so friendly and have such a genuine care for animals that I couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else. I know my boys are getting the same attention at Petropolis as they would if they were at home and that makes leaving them a little more easy. I'm impressed with all the activities Petropolis has to offer and I am even more impressed with how excited my dogs get when I tell them I'm taking them there. They're definitely doing something right.
