Cat Boarding FAQs

All cats boarded at Petropolis are required to have their Rabies and Feline Distemper Combo (FVRCP) vaccines. Visit our vaccination policy page to learn more.

Our hours of operation are 7:30am to 6:00pm on weekdays and 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekends, but we do offer after hours drop-off and pick-up. Please contact us at our Chesterfield location or St. Charles location to speak to a staff member about drop-off and pick-up times that work for you.

Nightly boarding rates range from $31-$47 depending on room size, with additional cats at $25 per night. Activity packages are $22 per session. Rates may vary during peak seasons, so we recommend checking our Peak Calendar or calling for current pricing.

The nightly boarding rate includes your cat's spacious suite, premium cat food, daily cleanings, health monitoring by our trained staff, and medication administration. Activities are charged separately.

We offer a Standard Room ($31/night) and a Luxury Room ($47/night). The Standard Room is a private suite with plenty of places to climb, hide, and nap. The Luxury Room includes those same qualities, with the addition of more space, more ramps, and more hiding places.

We recommend bringing any medications, your cat's regular food (if applicable), and a familiar item with your scent (like a small towel or t-shirt). We provide premium food, litter, bowls, bedding, and toys, but you're welcome to bring favorites from home.

We provide premium cat food as part of your boarding package, but we recommend bringing your cat's regular food if they have specific dietary needs, allergies, or have a sensitive stomach. This helps maintain their routine and prevents digestive upset.

Yes, our trained staff performs daily wellness checks on all boarded cats to monitor their health and comfort. Our cat care specialists check on all feline guests at least 3 times daily. We maintain detailed care logs for each cat. If we notice any concerns, we'll contact you right away to discuss the best course of action.

Our trained staff can administer most oral and topical medications at no additional charge. Simply bring medications in their original containers with clear instructions. For specialized medical needs, please discuss with us before booking.

You can choose between playtime with a staff member, "empowerment" time for cats that need acclimating to new environments, and snuggle time for less energetic cats. All activities are supervised by one of our cat professionals and lasts approximately 20 minutes. Each session is $22.

Yes! Both rooms can accommodate multiple cats from the same family, with Luxury Rooms offering more space. Additional cats are $25 per night.

We offer text updates as an add-on service, which includes photos of your cat's boarding adventure. This gives you peace of mind and lets you see how much fun your cat is having while you're away. You can also call the front desk with any inquiries about your cat's stay.

Absolutely not. Our cat boarding area is completely separate from our dog facilities, with dedicated ventilation systems and soundproofing to ensure a calm, stress-free environment for your feline friend.

Yes, we accept all cats. Our Pet Empowerment Philosophy means we take time to learn each cat's unique personality and adapt our care approach accordingly. We even offer Empowerment activity sessions specifically designed to help cats acclimate to our environment at their own pace.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak seasons and holidays when demand is highest. For regular weekends or off-peak times, booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance is advisable to ensure room availability.
