Dog Daycare FAQs

All dogs at Petropolis' daycare are required to have their Rabies, Distemper (DHPP), Bordetella vaccines. Visit our vaccination policy page to learn more.

No, we don't require dogs to be spayed or neutered with a few exceptions. Intact males over 12 months and females in heat will not be permitted in group play.

Our hours of operation are 7:30am to 6:00pm on weekdays and 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekends, but we do offer after hours drop-off and pick-up. Please contact us at our Chesterfield location or St. Charles location to speak to a staff member about drop-off and pick-up times that work for you.

We offer full-day daycare for $45.95 (includes 2 two-hour sessions) and half-day for $35.95 (includes 1 two-hour session). Punch cards are also available for discounted rates depending on the package.

For our clients who regularly come to daycare, we offer discounted rates with our punch cards. We have a 10-day package ($43.95/day), a 20-day package ($41.95/day), and a 30-day package ($39.95/day). Each package includes extended daycare drop-off & pick-up hours.

Depending on whether you do a full day or a half day, your dog will enjoy anywhere from 2 to 4 hours of exercise with the other dogs in our dog daycare and dog boarding facility.

A full-day includes 2 supervised play sessions (2 hours each), while a half-day includes 1 session (2 hours). Both include supervised group play, interaction with staff members, and access to our dog water park when weather permits.

Dogs play in supervised groups with compatible playmates, splash in our water parks (weather permitting), enjoy calming rest periods, and other outdoor activities in our spacious, secure play yards. Dogs also play with toys and our trained staff members during their time at daycare.

Yes, our staff members continuously monitor dogs' health and comfort during daycare. If we notice any concerns, we'll contact you right away to discuss the best course of action.

Our staff is trained to administer medications to your pet (for no additional fee), with some limitations. Due to the risks, we do not administer injections such as insulin. 

All new dogs complete a temperament assessment to ensure they're comfortable in a group setting. This helps us understand your dog's play style, social preferences, and any special needs.

Dogs are carefully matched by size, age, temperament, and play style to ensure safe and enjoyable socialization for all personalities.

Yes, we offer puppy daycare! Puppies must meet our vaccination requirements, which may differ slightly from adult dogs. Our puppy daycare is particularly beneficial for young dogs who need proper socialization.

Petropolis staff members are trained to identify when dogs need a break from all the fun. We offer safe, calm spaces to relax and shaded areas for cooling down in the heat when dogs need some down time.

Our dog daycare is outdoors, so dogs can enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, and even play in the snow or water features depending on the weather. However, we also have plenty of covered spaces to allow dogs a break from the elements should they need it.

We only allow access to our dog water parks when weather permits for the safety of our canine guests. However, when the weather is suitable, our dog water features are running during both full-day and half-day sessions. 

You don't need to bring anything for a standard daycare visit with one exception. If your dog requires medication, bring it in its original container with clear instructions. Otherwise, we provide everything your dog needs!

No, you can use our dog daycare freely. Though, many pet parents drop their dogs off on a consistent schedule to ensure proper socialization, exercise, and mental stimulation.
