The most important thing you can do to raise a happy, confident Empowered Pet is to socialize them young. But training isn’t just for puppies! It’s never too late to teach your dog new skills or brush up on the ones they already know. Our highly knowledgeable trainers are here for you no matter what goals you have.

We never use choke chains, prong collars, or shock collars, and you’ll never see us trying to ‘dominate’ or intimidate a dog. Instead, we use treats and praise to reward them for their hard work. Not only does positive reinforcement work better, but it helps strengthen the bond between animal and handler. (Because we rely on treats during training, please let us know if your dog has any allergies during the training evaluation!)

All of our dog training programs are designed to strengthen the human-animal bond and enrich your dog in the process. Petropolis offers dog training to help achieve any specific goals you have for your pup! Along with goals discussed in the free evaluation, we will keep you updated with pictures, videos, and private lessons! Since every dog is different, all training packages are fully customizable when it comes to scheduling and how we train your pup.
Volunteering your time as a therapy dog handler is a fantastic way to help those in need while also strengthening your bond with your dog. We can help teach your dog the skills they need and teach you how to be a good handler. Click here to learn more.
